Monster VR is located on a site in the Songdo district of Incheon on the western outskirts of Seoul. It extends to 1,320 square metres according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and its subsidiary Korea Creative Content Agency (KCCA).

The attraction consists of four separate zones.  Guests are able to enjoy a variety of experiences, from car-racing to bobsleighing; from shooting to space travel.  There are also a variety of other sports and leisure activities on offer.

The park is operated by GPM, Vive Studios and Media Front who took part in open bidding for the project.

“Monster VR has richer content than VR-theme parks in foreign countries,” says an official from KCCA. “We hope it would serve as a foothold for leading VR content in the country to make a foray into foreign countries.”

Monster VR is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Incheon is a South Korean city that borders the capital of Seoul. It already features a casino, spa and golf course.  Boat tours leave from Yeonan Pier, close to the popular Incheon Fish Market.  The city is also renowned for its beach-lined islands, including Yeongjong and Muui-dong.
