Starting June 18, 2016, the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum which located on the central axis of Chengdu City has been closed for renovation. By November 1, 2017, this landmark building has been transformed. Li Zhanwei, a Shanghai-based instructor who has been involved in the construction and renovation for over a hundred days, proudly said: "The exhibition area of the new hall has been expanded from 20 to 22 and the products, which the public can personally participate in the interactive experience is increase from 30% to 70% ". 00.jpg

Get into the lobby on the first floor, looked up will see a wave light band which combination by nearly 6,000 pieces of liquid crystal dimming glass, gradient of color like a galaxy hanging in the sky, make people shines. Follow the light and cross the hall to the aerospace center behind the foyer, where you will step into the "China-made Space Station" to experience the astronauts' life at the outpost of the human exploration universe. When you wear the VR helmet, you will be in a distant outer space. If you do not feel like having fun, never mind, come and play 3D rolling circles and experience an astronaut simulation training to see if you can challenge your anti-dizziness and time-perception skills like the astronaut Yang Liwei.01.jpg

The fun stuff in the science and Technology Museum is everywhere. As long as you use your cell phone to sweep the QR code inside the museum, the Cretaceous dinosaurs will show up from your mobile phone screen vividly. If you want to experience a super-thrilling hyperstimulation, do not miss the new Faraday cage. When a discharge pole with a voltage of 100,000V is approaching the cage, discharge sparks will appearance. When you in the cage and even use hands to touch the wall to near the spark will not be electric shock, which is thrilling wonder.
